Starz announced today that BMF has been picked up for a second season. The news comes just four days after its premiere, which got off to a solid start by already ranking as the #1 debut series on the Starz app this year.
Based on a true story, the drama follows two brothers, Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory, who rose from the streets of Detroit in the late 1980s and created one of America's most influential criminal enterprises known as the Black Mafia Family. The charismatic leadership of Big Meech and the business acumen of Southwest T allowed them to form a partnership with a vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop.
Look for Season 2 of BMF in 2022.
