CBS has topped up the comedy's freshman run.
October 21, 2021
CBS announced today that Ghosts has been picked up for a full season. The good news comes three episodes into the comedy's freshman run, which has been garnering a solid reception from critics thus far. Since its premiere earlier this month, it is ranking as the #1 most-watched comedy of the season.
Adapted from the British series of the same name, the half-hour show follows a couple who decide to take a risk and convert their recently inherited country estate into a bed & breakfast. Unfortunately, the place is not only falling apart, but it's also inhabited by spirits of previous residents - and only one of them can see them.
There is no word on the total episode count for Season 1 of Ghosts, as the network has recently been taking a wait-and-see approach before locking things down. New episodes are currently airing Thursday nights at 9:00pm.

The British version IS much better. I do like that there is a US version but it is not as good as the British. Also we should call these shows the "California" version, the rest of the US shouldn't be associated with this. It took a while for me to determine the reason why it is not as good and I believe the main issue is they don't have as many characters as the British version. Several of the Ghosts that were in the first few episodes are now missing. California ruins tv shows with their greed and regulations. I have a funny feeling their strict covid regulations is why the show is now missing actors. Hollywood needs a reality check, the rest of America is tired of their crap. Their ratings are getting lower and lower and they can't figure out why? Hmm........ Please bring back all the ghosts that are supposed to be in this show!!! This show does have potential.

I can't believe this got a full season. This is definitely not The Office. I watched the UK version of that and although I liked it, I found the American version to be far superior. I can't say the same in this case. I went into this show not having seen the UK version yet. About 3 episodes into this one without a single laugh, I decided to watch it. I won't be going back to the American version. It pales in comparison so much that it should just disappear altogether.

I hate to say it... as usually the British/BBC version of a show feels better produced, scripted, and acted. But, having watched some episodes from both I really think the US version of this made the right changes for the subtle humor differences between the US and UK. This may be a one off for me but I prefer the US version of this show.

Agree with Sherry. While I never saw the British Version, and I'm sure it was better as most originals are, this is a lighthearted change to the other reality garbage fillignthe airwaves. Don't know if it can hold its own for the long term, but glad to see it at least got a full season.

What a bunch of garbage!!
If you want to watch this show, you need to watch the British Original show!
Hue is absolutely correct. You can tell within the first 5 minutes that this has been dumbed down for the American public. It seems like they made this to appeal to 10 year old children.
Awful!!!

I'll watch it as long as it's on, not sure how many season you can get out of this show and how long it will be funny, but I like it and I like that there's not political propaganda so far, I'm not watching political propaganda shows anymore
