No Season 2 for the novel-based drama.
January 7, 2022
It is being reported that Amazon Prime Video has cancelled I Know What You Did Last Summer after one season. The news comes two months after the drama wrapped its 8-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered mixed reviews.
Based on the novel and film of the same name, the series follows a group of teenagers who were involved in a fatal car accident that ruined their graduation night. A year later, and bound together by a dark secret, they are stalked by a mysterious killer. As they try to figure out who is after them, a dark side of their seemingly perfect town - and themselves - is revealed.

Kind of sad because I love a good slasher, but from what I hear it wasn't all that good anyways! The movie is amazing, and I'll just keep watching that.
Also, @rogue I think the book would make a pretty boring movie if they don't change some of the plot. Not that much happens in the book tbh

Just like the movie, IS NOT FAITHFUL TO THE BOOK AT ALL. I’m glad it got cancelled. Maybe one day they’ll do a proper movie that’s just like the book. Until then good riddance to this show.

One of Us is Lying was the better version on Peacock.
People expected more from the same under this title but it didn’t deliver. It was not even scary. It was boring drama.
Not surprised.

I still question the intelligence of everyone involved in bringing this steaming heap of Cat poo to the screen. This was probably the single worst remake of a classic ever made. I mean from the first 120 seconds into the show you knew it was going to get cancelled.

Never heard about this but doesn't surprise me good movie but not enough of a story line to make it into a multiple season series.
