Hulu announced today that The Great has been picked up for a third season. The good news arrives two months after the satirical dramedy returned for its sophomore run, which again garnered high praise from critics.
Set in the 18th century, the show follows feminist trailblazer Catherine the Great, who experiences an unlikely rise and a spectacular reign as the longest running female leader in Russian history.
Another 10 episodes have been ordered for Season 3 of The Great, which should return later in 2022.

Which of Elle Fanning or Helen Mirren, the titular Catherines, was the promiscuous one? Or both. I'll watch this folly if it makes it around to something I stream. With or without the woke horse.

That's some weird foreplay talk. If you had a drink every time someone in The Great said "Huzzah", you’d be drunk before the end of the first episode. In actual fact, Russians have never ever said Huzzah. Try Ura! Ura! Ura! Yakut! Yakut! Yakut!

There is a false legend disclaiming Katherine the Great DIED while having sex with a horse. That is false.
