No Season 4 for the historical dramedy.

It is being reported that The Great has been cancelled by Hulu. The news comes three months after the satirical dramedy released its now-final third season, which once again garnered high praise from critics.
Set in the 18th century, the show follows feminist trailblazer Catherine the Great, who experiences an unlikely rise and a spectacular reign as the longest running female leader in Russian history.

@Tom - watch it. It is so much more than that one event (and it makes sense in context). You will miss a great show if you don't watch.

Great show and sad to see it end. At least I thought it had a decent stopping point. I did think it was going to be hard to continue at the same level as the chemistry between Nicholas and Elle was so fantastic.

I love this show!! They ruined it by killing off Peter. I mean I get that he did die in real life but it was an occasionally true story, we could have kept it for a few more seasons. It was funny and great clothes and just great fun. Sad to see it gone.

I have mixed feelings about this one. On one hand I’m pissed that they are cancelling this but on the other hand they kinda screwed the show up by killing off one of their funniest if not thee funniest character! And now that Reservation Dogs is over I don’t see a reason why I should keep Hulu around!

I loved the show but:

When they killed off Peter (the funniest character) I knew the show would be worse and I didn’t want to continue watching another season without it (although u would’ve)

Ok, once again....No show is surviving... Not a single one, even on streaming paid platforms and channels.
Except Grey's Anatomy, give me, one actual tv series that has survived over 1,2,3 seasons...
At least in other countries tv shows are not famous like american ones, but they have an ending. Or like in France and UK, many mini series.
I loved the Great, i loved the costumes, the humor... It's too bad.
I don"t see how can all these platforms and channels can survive by putting so much money on creating tv shows and then cancelling them.
