Fox announced today that Next Level Chef has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes ahead of tonight's freshman finale, where the final three competitors vie to become the first 'Next Level Chef' by creating three dishes on three levels in 90 minutes.

The show's 11-episode debut outing was a successful one. Touted by the network as TV's #1 new show among adults 18-49, its premiere was Fox's third-most streamed unscripted launch ever with 3.3 million views across Hulu and FoxNow.

In the series, some of the country's best line cooks, home chefs, and food truck owners compete against each other in a unique three-story-high culinary gauntlet designed by Gordon Ramsay. Joined by chefs Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, Ramsay and his co-mentors take a group the talented chefs under their wings, where they work to bring out the best in their cooks. Creativity and consistency are the key to success, as the competitors adapt to the challenges waiting for them. Only one can walk away with the $250,000 grand prize.
