The racing docuseries scores a two-season pickup.
May 5, 2022
Netflix announced today that Formula 1: Drive to Survive has been renewed for two additional seasons. The good news, which comes two months after the release of Season 4, will see the racing docuseries through to at least six seasons.
The series gives viewers an immersive look at the drivers, managers, and team owners involved in the Formula 1 World Championship. All involved live their life in the fast lane — both on and off the track — during each season of Formula 1 racing.
Look for Season 5 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive in early 2023.

Michael Masi should be a show director for the next 2 series. He did a great job directing the Abu Dhabi race for Netflix.

This is a really well done series, but you can tell that certain decisions made during the race by officials are specifically made for the show.
