No Season 2 for the reimagined sci-fi drama.

Word is out that The CW has cancelled 4400 after just one season. The news comes three months after the sci-fi drama wrapped its freshman run, which ultimately failed to draw a sizeable audience during its 13-episode run.
Based on 2004's 'The 4400', the series followed the story of 4400 people, overlooked by society, who vanished from Earth leaving no trace behind. One day they suddenly all return to Detroit, Michigan without having aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them. The government is left trying to make sense of the phenomenon while analyzing any potential threats they pose.

I a l m o s t made it to the end of the first season because I really loved the original series.
But this was BAD! As if it was one long preach from a priest who makes the whole church fall asleep bad. Whoever sold these people the rights: next time make sure you know what they are going to do with it. TO it, I mean.

Nothing left to watch on CW. Thankful for Netflix and Hulu. Recorded season 1 on DVR and was waiting for season 2 before watching, just going to delete now. Started this after being burned too many times by the networks.

Not surprised at all. I wanted to like it based on the premise, plus I never saw the original but heard good things. This version was just not good.

Agree 100% .Turned it off after first episode. Hollyweird has to realize most people aren't like them. Not the first nor probably the last that I will dump.

the original one was a mixed bag of everyone from all walks of life. This newer one is all over soaked liberal mess. Suddenly everyone is gay, trans or both and guess who the villains are? :straight, white , christians. Good riddance!
