No Season 2 for the bowling comedy.
May 12, 2022
It is being reported that CBS has cancelled How We Roll after just one season. The news comes a week before the comedy wraps its freshman run. Four episodes remain in the now-final season, with two airing tonight and two more on May 19.
Based on the true 'modern-day Michigan fable' of three-time PBA Tour winner Tom Smallwood, the half-hour series follows a Detroit husband and father who, after getting let go from his assembly line job, takes a chance on fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a pro bowler.

Wow, after canceling "How We Roll", "B Positive", and "United States of Al", you have to wonder what CBS will do with their Thursday night sitcom block. Maybe keep it one hour with "Young Sheldon" and "Ghosts"? And with two of these Chuck Lorre productions, you have to wonder if Chuck Lorre's run as the king of sitcoms is finally over.

@Karen.. the name fits.. your'e an idiot. one season is "giving it a chance".
Pete Holmes is merely quirky and a bit odd.. he's the wrong choice for the lead. The other characters are great.. but Pete.. he can't carry the role he was chosen for.

Again, CBS, give the show a chance. Why only one season? It was cute. Do they all have to be #1?

This show was charming, but felt like they kept looking for arcs to "roll" with - never really settling on any. Writers had no focus. It just meandered its way to cancellation. I love Chi McBride - he deserved better scripts than this. RIP another cheaply produced laugh-track show. No big surprise.

Watched first couple episodes and much like my bowling, this show was in the gutter lane. Unfunny cast, unlikable bowling alley owner, no laughs... Good bye.

Every promo I saw was 100% laugh free. If you can't even put together a humorous promo. I can only imagine how boring the actual show was.

I thought it was good enough for a couple of seasons!! I wanted to see how his pro career unfolded with this being based on a real person. CBSucks again!!

They really don't give shows much of a chance these days. It just started in March and it's already cancelled. Jeez.
