No Season 2 for the novel-based drama.
July 1, 2022
It is being reported that HBO has cancelled The Time Traveler's Wife after just one season. The news comes less than two weeks after the drama wrapped its 6-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered a mixed critical reception.
Based on the novel of the same name by Audrey Niffenegger, the hour-long series follows married couple Henry and Clare, whose enchanting love story is complicated by Henry's disorder that causes him to involuntarily travel through time.

Thanks Tim for your comment. It was sitting on my PVR waiting to be watched and because of your comment I did watch the first two episodes and stopped; to make my 19 year old son watch it with me. Started it all over with him and at the beginning of the 6th episode I broke the news to him that it was the last episode ever and I was sorry I did that to him. We finished the show and were both glad with how it ended being that it cancelled but were still disappointed it was.

No surprise, it was really bad, and the acting? PU.

Awww thats a shame. It was filmed well, had a strong cast but I expect all the back and forth confused casual viewers with the attention span of a goldfish. I was looking forward to the story expanding more into a life on the road scenario rather than a groundhog day love drama but unfortunatley we will never know now.

People who say they were going to watch it but now aren't going just cause the show is cancelled. really annoy me cause if they watched while it aired it would potentially helped to keep it on air longer.

The movie was not a huge hit but I enjoyed it. This series was ok and it was not about grooming either. He is not a gangster rapper preying on girls.

Thoroughly loved this show. So sad it’s not renewed.

I was about to subscribe to HBO and start watching this. I guess they saved me some money. Back to Netflix and Prime I go...

It was fantastic. HBO leaves us hanging again. Maybe 10 years from now we will get a close to the series a la Deadwood.

The fact that it was cancelled doesn't change the fact that I totally enjoyed the first season. Glad I bothered.
