No Season 2 for the vampire drama.

Word is out that First Kill has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. Dominic Goodman, who plays Apollo on the show, took to Twitter with the news this afternoon, expressing gratitude to the fans. The series released its eight-episode run in June, garnering mixed reviews from critics.
Based on Victoria Schwab's short story of the same name, First Kill follows teenage vampire Juliette, who is dealing with pressure to make her first kill and establish herself among her family of legacy vampires. She turns her attention to Calliope, the mysterious new girl in school who just happens to come from an equally esteemed family of vampire hunters. Both girls quickly find out that it's much harder to kill someone you're falling for.

That did not last long at all.....No surprise there. I think the whole Vampire thing has passed.

Like a great deal of shows on streaming, 6-10 episodes doesn't really allow for them to find their form.
Imagine if Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers, etc were cancelled after a few episodes. It almost happened!!
As far as the people saying "woke" & "Grooming", if you're using those words there is a good bet you don't know what they mean because smart people don't use them.

I enjoyed this show. All the people that seemed to dislike it appear to be homophobic, perhaps with a touch of not wanting the races to mingle? If you do not like the show, DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT. I can usually tell by 1 or 2 episodes if I like a show or not. I wonder how people can waste time writing reviews about stuff they don't care about. Change the channel and move on.

actually good, they wrote themselves into an unplotable future. It had really bad acting, the plot in places made Ed Wood cringe, and portions of the legend of the show itself was less than crap. So great idea, less than junk delivery. Reboot and make it good.
