No Season 2 for the vampire drama.

Word is out that First Kill has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. Dominic Goodman, who plays Apollo on the show, took to Twitter with the news this afternoon, expressing gratitude to the fans. The series released its eight-episode run in June, garnering mixed reviews from critics.
Based on Victoria Schwab's short story of the same name, First Kill follows teenage vampire Juliette, who is dealing with pressure to make her first kill and establish herself among her family of legacy vampires. She turns her attention to Calliope, the mysterious new girl in school who just happens to come from an equally esteemed family of vampire hunters. Both girls quickly find out that it's much harder to kill someone you're falling for.

@jasmine.. it's Al actually, you are bad at guessing names. Also, you said "if you don't like the show change the channel" So, how can I change the channel if it is not on tv?

If Netflix had not cancelled this show, I would have wondered about whether sane people are running the company.
Netflix needs to get a grip on the quality of its offerings.

Just pointing out that not everyone that disliked the show is a homophobe, as Jasmine as stated. I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes and it was a struggle to make it that far. I wanted to turn it off at 3 minutes. The acting was terrible, the plot has been done and done and overdone. Girl meets monster and they fall in love: Buffy, Twilight, Warm Bodies. It's a trope that's worn so thin it's see through at this point.

Dear Aladdin. My actual name is Jasmine. I only comment on shows I actually give a shit about. I am sure your given name at birth was not Aladdin. P. S. I never said Netflix is a channel on cable. Good Comeback, Bob or Roy or Steve, etc.

That's exactly what people did, changed the channel and moved on!

Yes. And the writers of Buffy actually did it Right and Good!

Didnt Buffy do the whole "Vampire & Hunter" forbidden love thing in the 90s? The trailer looked like it was produced on an iphone so i didnt even waste my time with this one, sorry Netflix...

@ Jim As far as the people saying "woke" & "Grooming", if you're
NOT using those words there is a good bet you don't want people to know that you are one of the groomers.

@Jim we get it, you think children should be introduced to sxual situations at young ages.
