HBO Max announced today that Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes less than a month after the thriller wrapped its 10-episode freshman run.
"We are beyond excited to continue telling stories with our amazing group of little liars — exploring their friendships, their romances, their secrets, and their status as scream queens supreme!," said creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. "Eternal thanks to the fans who have embraced this new, horror-version of Pretty Little Liars — which we'll be continuing, of course — as well as our partners at HBO Max, Warner Bros. Television, and Alloy Entertainment."
The fourth series in the franchise, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is set two decades after a series of tragic events nearly tore the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. A disparate group of teenage girls find themselves tormented by an unknown assailant out to punish them for a secret sin committed by their parents, as well as sins of their own.
