No Season 2 for the celebrity competition series.

It is being reported by Deadline that Beyond the Edge has been cancelled by CBS after just one season. The news comes four months after the competition series wrapped its 10-episode freshman run. Airing Wednesday nights following 'Survivor' this past spring, the show failed to retain much of its lead-in audience.
In Beyond the Edge, nine celebrities leave their luxurious lives behind to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama, where they compete in challenges that have them enduring brutal conditions as they push themselves beyond their comfort zone. For two weeks, the celebrities withstand extreme heat, torrential downpours, and deadly wildlife as they earn money for charity.

s'okay. A bit too "sugar coated" if ya ask me. Might have been better with non-celebrities that aren't worried about "persona" on film.

Aw that sucks. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I thought it had a chance to come back.
