NBC has ordered nine additional episodes of Lopez vs. Lopez, topping up the comedy's freshman run to 22 episodes total. The move follows a solid start through its first three episodes.
Per the network, the show's debut episode has grown its audience to 7.6 million viewers across its linear and digital platforms. On streaming service Peacock, it ranks as the #1 comedy launch of an NBC series.
Lopez vs. Lopez stars George Lopez and his real-life daughter, Mayan, as a previously estranged father and daughter who are trying to make up for lost time. With George back in her life, Mayan can count on him for some unconventional parenting advice - and some lighthearted barbs for her boyfriend. Through it all, they navigate dysfunction, reconnection and all the headaches and joy in between.

Lopez' last show was a lot better than this one. It's just a bland family sitcom.
But I guess NBC has nothing better. This really has been the worst season for broadcast TV in over 50 years.

We set this up on our Pvr to record and have watched all the episodes. I chuckle a couple times an episode but the craziest thing is that they are real life father and daughter but I see barely any on screen chemistry (father daughter chemistry). Maybe the writing? Over the top acting? I don't know.

Someone keeps telling George Lopez he's funny. He doesn't realize they are being sarcastic and believes them. He isn't.
