NBC wants more of the George Lopez comedy.

NBC has renewed Lopez vs. Lopez for a second season. The news comes just three days after the comedy wrapped its freshman run.
The series premiered in November, with its debut episode growing the network's audience to 7.6 million viewers across its linear and digital platforms. On streaming service Peacock, it had the #1 comedy launch of an NBC series. In December, the network topped up its original 13-episode order to a full 22.
Lopez vs. Lopez stars George Lopez and his real-life daughter, Mayan, as a previously estranged father and daughter who are trying to make up for lost time. With George back in her life, Mayan can count on him for some unconventional parenting advice - and some lighthearted barbs for her boyfriend. Through it all, they navigate dysfunction, reconnection and all the headaches and joy in between.

I really tried to like this show but it is awful, not funny at all.

Really? It's the SAME SHOW Lopez has been doing for decades. The only difference between his shows is how much money he's supposed to have, but ALL the jokes in this show are EXACTLY the same as the jokes in his last 3 shows.
