Netflix announced today that That '90s Show has been renewed for an expanded Season 2. The good news comes just two weeks after the comedy released its 10-episode freshman run, which has been garnering a generally positive reception from critics and viewers. The second season of the show will increase its episode count to 16.
"All of us at That '90s Show were beyond excited by the warm, enthusiastic response to our first season," said Gregg Mettler, Co-Creator/Showrunner/Executive Producer. "We can't wait to return to Point Place for another summer of laughs and surprises. Hello 1996!"
Acting as a sequel to the hit comedy 'That '70s Show,' the half-hour series is set in 1995, following Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, who decides to visit her grandparents for the summer. During her time there, she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.

Good show. Its not the original but if you watch it without expecting it to be as good as That 70s show, you will enjoy it.
Good seeing almost everyone in their cameos. Wish they at least mentioned Hyde even though Danny Masterson will never be on the show, they could at least mention what the character is up to.
That kid they got to play Kelson's son, I gotta say, he's got the Kelso vibe and mannerisms down. Perfect casting for the next generation Kelso. The rest of the kids are good too but he is the stand out.
Red and Kitty great as always, and was thrilled to see some new burn out moments from Leo!
Looking forward to the 16 (not 6 Brenda) episodes next year and more to come in the future!
Increasing the "PER Season" count to 16, not the total episode count.
