ABC announced today that the latest spin-off of 'The Bachelor,' where seniors try to find love, will be titled The Golden Bachelor and will premiere this fall as part of its 2023-2024 lineup airing Monday nights following 'Dancing with the Stars.'
The dating series gives an older hopeless romantic a second chance at love by helping him find a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life. The women arrive at the bachelor mansion with a lifetime of experience living through love, loss, and laughter - each of them hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of possibilities.
The show has been a long time coming, with the network first putting out casting calls for seniors looking for love as far back as 2020 during episodes of 'The Bachelor.' Three years in the making, the show is debuting at a perfect time for ABC, which is leaning heavily into unscripted fare for the upcoming fall season.

I appreciate and respect the premise of this show, but I watch very little 'reality' TV. I prefer scripted shows. Networks like reality because they are cheaper to produce. I doubt this show will cast realistic seniors, but they will all look like aging models and sctresses.
