The Western drama will not return for Season 3.
October 31, 2023
It is being reported that Joe Pickett has been cancelled by Paramount+ after two seasons. The news comes three months after the Western drama wrapped its sophomore run. The show premiered on Spectrum in 2021 before moving exclusively to Paramount+ for Season 2.
Based on the bestselling book series by C.J. Box., the series follows dedicated Wyoming Game Warden Joe Pickett, who, along with his family, must navigate the changing political and socio-economic climate of a small town on the verge of collapse.
In Season 2, Joe worked to solve a series of gruesome killings, navigating a radical anti-hunting activist, a ghoulish set of twins living off the grid, and his own tortured past. Joe and his wife find out that the murdered men weren't as innocent as they seemed, but when they dig too deep, they end up on the run fighting for their very lives.

Too bad. A relatively good cast and some reasonable plot lines

I only just found this show thinking it was new on Paramount+, after a new subscription to the streaming network just to find my new found show has been canceled

Why? Yet another good show cancelled. This stinks! Your show runners need more training or Paramount + needs to do surveys on shows.

Considering all the shows they’ve been cancelling, Paramount Plus must be hemorrhaging money right now. They’d be better off letting go of some of the crazy expensive shows Taylor Sheridan puts out.

Another show I liked being cancelled. Best wishes to the cast & crew for future employment.

I just started watching this and was really enjoying it. Figures they cancel it. These people make way to much money to make so many bad decisions.
