HBO orders six new episodes of the docuseries.

HBO has ordered a continuation of The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst for 2024. Part Two of the Emmy Award-winning documentary series will return with six new episodes after nearly 10 years, chronicling the filmmakers' continued investigation of the story.
The show premiered in 2015, examining the history of the real estate heir, long suspected in the unsolved 1982 disappearance of his wife as well as the subsequent murders of family friend Susan Berman and neighbor Morris Black. Episodes featured an extended and revealing interview with Durst himself, and includes the results from nearly a decade of research by the filmmakers, who expose police files, key witnesses, unseen footage, prison recordings, and thousands of pages of formerly hidden documents.
At the end of the original series, viewers heard Robert Durst say that he "killed them all, of course." And hours earlier, based on evidence uncovered by the filmmakers, Durst had been arrested in a hotel lobby in New Orleans. Part Two will reveal new hidden material, Durst's prison calls, and interviews with people who have never before come forward.

It's a dead story (no pun intended). I'll watch it.. but my life would be none the lesser if it never happened. I mean season one was nearly 10 years ago. And Durst is dead now. Anything related to him or his crimes has already appeared in NUMEROUS true crime shows over the past decade. What's next for these filmmakers? Who shot John Kennedy?
Gotta love the "based on evidence uncovered by the filmmakers line.. should actually read.. "Based on Durst forgetting he had a hot mic on..." The Filmmakers didn't "uncover" anything. Durst outed himself and without that 30 second slip on his part while he was urinating..... there'd be nothing for these filmmakers to hang their hat on.
