Acorn TV announced that Recipes for Love and Murder has been renewed for Season 2. The news comes over a year after the South African drama debuted its freshman run.
Based on Sally Andrew's bestselling "A Tannie Maria Mystery" novels, the series follows advice columnist Tannie Maria, who offers guidance and delicious recipes for a small town newspaper in South Africa. Her life takes an unexpected turn when a correspondent who writes in about her abusive husband is found dead. Joining forces with a rookie journalist, Maria investigates the murder to try and catch the killer before the police find more victims. But her worlds collide as she begins working through her own mysterious past to solve the case.
Season 2 of Recipes for Love and Murder is slated to begin filming in South Africa in 2024.

Acorn TV is another streaming service - perhaps based in the UK - concentrates on UK dramas. in OZ it is accessed through AMC+

@Jaime What indeed is "Acorn TV"? If only there was some sort of app that allowed a person to type in a question and then that app would scan the web for possible answers. Such an app would be darn useful.

I know the pandemic and writer strikes and who knows what all slow things down, but it feels weird to go "That show sounds familiar...oh yeah, I think I liked that one!"
