The military drama will conclude its run in 2024.
November 15, 2023
Paramount+ announced today that SEAL Team will be coming to an end after its upcoming seventh season. The military drama's now-final run will be its second full season on the streaming service after moving from its original network, CBS, during Season 5.
On the air since 2017, the series has had an impressive run. While it was seen as on the bubble for renewal while on CBS back in 2021, a move to Paramount+ helped prolong its run, which surpassed the 100-episode mark last year.
"For six seasons I have been fortunate and blessed to be a part of an outstanding cast and crew," said star David Boreanaz. "Every day spent was a note of thanks to our men and women in the military and Special OPS. I thank our fans, and I'm proud we were able to make this show to shine light in the darkness toward so many suffering today. I look forward to season seven and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude."
SEAL Team follows an elite unit of Navy SEALs composed of a tight-knit group of patriots with fearless dedication. Deployed on clandestine ops around the world, its members embark on these dangerous, high-stakes missions knowing the toll it takes on themselves and their families.
Look for the seventh and final season of SEAL Team in 2024.

It was a great show. I was disappointed when it moved to Paramount+.

It had its moments and I'm sad to see it go.
But clearly it is time. The whole plot line of what does Jason do when his days as an operator are over took up too much time. Too often Jason seemed to grow, only to regress again so they could squeeze more storylines out of it. Season 6 in particular went off the rails at times.
Still, it has an amazing ensemble cast and I hope to see them around elsewhere!

Kinda sad because it was one of my favorite shows of all time but it hasn't been the same since the move to Paramount. You could really tell their budget got cut BIG TIME. I guess it's time to end it.

With everything happening still in Ukraine and the recent developments in the world I’m not surprised this is ending. It’s no one’s fault but can see it being a little too sensitive. Been a great show. Hoping the ending is a great one and they all don’t get killed off.

The Clay exit from the show was unoriginal and seemed lazy. Hill Street Blues had a shocking death with a random act of violence that was devastating and real to the show. This show had several ways to write Clay out, while keeping him alive. I believe he was the best character on the show. I did like that they brought Mandy back. Unlike SWAT which could do 3 more years easily, Seal Team seems done after Clay.

Seriously one of my favorites. Every cast member is amazing. Gonna be sad to see this one go. I know its gonna be an emotional finale. I however did not like how they wrote Clay out of the show after he left for Fire Country. I thought it was kinda cheap to have him taken out by a rent a cop. I really liked Clay too as he wasnt afraid to stick up for what was right even if it went against chain of command to air his very real concerns.
