The military drama is sticking around at its new home.
February 1, 2022
It was announced today by Paramount+ that SEAL Team has been picked up for a sixth season. The good news comes a week after the military drama wrapped Season 5, which was its first at its new home after moving from its original network, CBS, last year.
SEAL Team follows an elite unit of Navy SEALs composed of a tight-knit group of patriots with fearless dedication. Deployed on clandestine ops around the world, its members embark on these dangerous, high-stakes missions knowing the toll it takes on themselves and their families.

Been a die hard fan of Seal Team, I agree some of the drama can be a little drawn out, but the action scenes bring a perfect climax to every episode. Glad to see a 6th season after a great 5th season ending. The writers need to be a little less predictable in there plots and action scenes. Going to paramount stream was a great move, added a lot more realism to the show, especially with a military assumed situations.

as much as i love this show the last series was a bit touchy feely and not enough seal team work, there all getting over the hill and need new blood...

The move to Paramount+ was exactly where it should be. It gave them the freedom to be a lot more realistic.
But enough with the never-ending plotlines about whether Jason will be forced into retirement. It's clear his place is at the lead of Bravo team and at this point we'll just look the other way at his age.

Yes 14 episodes…. Streaming shows are always less episodes and no back 9.
I’m so glad it’s coming back…. Yes the swearing makes it authentic… but the story’s and missions are great.
Thanks P+ and CBS!

I agree with what Sonja said. People complain about the show moving to streaming but this season was the best yet. Going to p+ allowed them to add swearing and just a little nastier, more what I would expect this group of people to be like. Can't wait to see how they carry on from that epic season 5 ending.

Cool to hear! And they haven't announced it as the final season either... so here's hoping for even more.

I agree with you Jasmine 100%. When CBS decided to move it to Paramount+, I wrote in saying I would be one of the ones not continuing to watch.
