No Season 2 for the book-based thriller.

It is being reported that Prime Video has cancelled Harlan Coben's Shelter after one season. The news comes two months after the thriller wrapped its 8-episode freshman run, which garnered a generally positive reception from critics and viewers.
Based on the New York Times best-selling novel series by author Harlan Coben, the show follows high school teen Mickey Bolitar, who, after the unexpected death of his father, begins a new life in Kasselton, New Jersey with his estranged uncle. There he soon finds himself tangled in the mysterious disappearance of a student at his new school, leading him to uncover shocking secrets within the quiet suburban community.

The show covered all the books as I said before. There is nothing left for them to do anyway.

knew this wouldn't come back, acting was some of the worst and this just adds to the bad shows being canceled. see ya

I enjoyed this show. Disappointed it's cancelled. A lot of worst shows they keep on.

Watched two episodes and then stopped.
I have enjoyed the author's previous works - The Stranger on Netflix was tremendous.
The author's style of writing has apparently changed.
Glad this show is over and done.

This one surprises me. We enjoyed this show, especially Adrian Greensmith. Watching just the first season could be enjoyed on its own but the ending is definitely a cliffhanger.

To anyone wondering, the story is finished. Season 1 used up all the source material and it ended the same was the last book ended. Not sure why they felt they needed to "cancel it though"
