Paramount Network is bringing back Bar Rescue for a ninth season. The long-running unscripted series will be back later this month with an all-star roster of nightlife, bar and restaurant experts including actor Danny Trejo, along with Ashish Alfred, Dustin Drai, and Phil Wills.
Known for his tough, no-excuses attitude, veteran bar & nightclub expert Jon Taffer utilizes his 30-plus years of experience in the restaurant, bar and nightclub business to help give failing establishments one last chance at success. Throughout the new season, he will take viewers around the country to cities in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Wisconsin and more to try and bring change - but not without conflict.
Season 9 of Bar Rescue premieres on February 25 at 10:00pm.

Unscripted my yaktabay. It follows a patently absurd script. A far more entertaining and realistic approach would be to show the advance production team coaching the bar owners and staff prior to Taffer's arrival.
(..... and yes, I realize that's a scripted aspect of the show. Tapper is paid to scream at people. That's the formula - intro, resistance, screaming & yelling, compliance - I still don't know why anyone would agree to it.)
