Amazon orders more of the hit sci-fi series.

Amazon announced today that Fallout has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes just eight days after the sci-fi drama made its much-anticipated debut on Prime Video. Since its premiere, the show has become one of the streamer's top three most-watched titles ever.
"Jonah, Lisa, Geneva, and Graham have captivated the world with this ground-breaking, wild ride of a show. The bar was high for lovers of this iconic video game and so far we seem to have exceeded their expectations, while bringing in millions of new fans to the franchise. The cast led by Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan have knocked it out of the park!," said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios. "We'd like to thank Jonah and Lisa and our friends at Bethesda for bringing the show to us as well as Geneva and Graham for coming aboard as showrunners. We are thrilled to announce season two after only one week out and take viewers even farther into the surreal world of Fallout."
Based on the best-selling global video game franchise, Fallout is set 200 years after the apocalypse, following the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters as they return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind. There they discover a complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. Critics and viewers have praised the show for its tongue-in-cheek gore, twisted, post-apocalyptic setting, and the portrayal of its signature characters.

Loved the video game, especially Fallot 3! In the game, when you got Power Armor, you felt proud and invincible. Maximus did a great job bringing that to life. Lucy grew up really fast when she stepped out of the vault, just like the game. You were immediately swarmed with rad-roaches and other monsters! The finale wrapped up the season nicely and teased future events. Great show, can't wait for season 2!

I never played the games, so this series was new to me. Interesting, but it takes too long to go anywhere. Production values and acting are great though. But it's not a world I want to spend a lot of time in so I've been turned off.
Frankly, the 1975 movie "A Boy and His Dog" says pretty much the same thing in a lot less time.

Great show. It is based on a game so that is why some characters decisions are different. But it is as good as " the last of us" and "silo". "manhunt" , "the expanse". And "picard" season three..

I haven’t played any of the games or knew much about it but what really caught my attention was not much CGI on sets when they really could have gotten away with using it. I love the old decor and the sets. Really sold the show and helped you immerse into it. Walter Goggins never fails

I've only watched the first three episodes so far, and I'm really enjoying the show. I haven't played any of the games.

In general I enjoyed the series and I do want it to continue. There were a few things that didn't make sense. Decisions that were made by characters that made little sense, as there were better ways to go about things.

Season 1 was great. More was the only logical choice.
