NBC announced today that Deal or No Deal Island has been renewed for Season 2. The early pickup comes with one episode remaining in the competition series' freshman run. Production on the next season is slated to begin this summer.
"It was incredible to see how audiences immediately took to the new format of Deal or No Deal Island, welcoming Joe Manganiello and the Banker's guests into their homes and bringing new life to the iconic IP," said Sharon Levy, Chief Executive Officer, Endemol Shine North America. "We're thrilled that NBC has picked up a second cycle and eagerly anticipate seeing how the Banker will physically test and mentally challenge a new season of contestants as they compete for a transformative jackpot."
Set on a tropical island, the show puts a new spin on the "Deal or No Deal" format. 13 players are transported to the elusive Banker's private island, where there are over 100 briefcases with millions of dollars split between them, which players compete to retrieve in thrilling challenges and dilemmas. The player up for elimination in each episode plays a high-stakes game of "Deal or No Deal." At the end of the season, the last player standing faces the Banker to try and win the biggest prize in "Deal or No Deal" history.

Ever banker challenge at the end is a 50/50 chance and that's the only weakness in the show.
They made sure rhe DEI check boxed was filled,
I really don’t like when shows do a cast that has a mix of reality vets and newbies, so I hope in the future they go either all former reality stars or all newbies.
