Amazon's Prime Video announced today that Coach Prime has been picked up for a third season. The news comes five months after the Emmy-nominated docuseries released its sophomore run.

The series originated in 2021, airing two seasons on Barstool Sports' YouTube channel before moving to Prime Video last year. Its first season at its new home followed coach Deion Sanders during the third year of his tenure at Jackson State University, where he and the Tigers football team experienced a historic season that included a water crisis, player injuries, and heightened expectations. Cameras captured the team at practice and during games, in the locker room, off the field, and in the community throughout their undefeated SWAC Championship season in 2022.

Season 2 followed Sanders through his inaugural season as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. Season 3 will once again transport fans inside the locker room and onto the field of Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders' University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) football program.
