Amazon announced today that the first international spinoff of 'Citadel' will debut globally on Prime Video this October. Titled Citadel: Diana, the series is an Italian language spy thriller starring Matilda De Angelis that will expand on the 'Citadel' universe.
Set in 2030 Milan, eight years after the independent global spy agency Citadel was destroyed by the powerful enemy syndicate, Manticore, the series follows undercover agent Diana Cavalieri, who has been trapped alone behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore. When she finally sees a way out and the chance to disappear forever, she needs to trust the most unexpected ally, Edo Zani, the heir of Manticore Italy and son of the head of the Italian organization, Ettore Zani, who's vying for leadership against the other European families.
The original 'Citadel' series premiered on Prime Video in 2023 and was quickly renewed for a second season after it became the streamer's second most-watched new original series outside the U.S. and fourth most-watched worldwide.

Geronimo is right. Season 2 of Citadel is still coming separately to this.

I may or may not give Citadel: Diana (S2) a chance as I didn't like S1 very much. I'm wondering if the audio will be in Italian w/English subtitles or in English, spoken by Italians.

It's an Italian show. Let it expand your cultural horizon! That said, we've seen Matilda in the Aidan Turner version of LEONARDO, and she was breath-taking (fantastic mini series btw - a bit challenging at first, but the finale was fucking brilliant) Give it a chance!
