No Season 3 for the video game-based drama.

Word is out that Halo has been cancelled by Paramount+ after two seasons. The news comes four months after the video game-based drama wrapped its 8-episode sophomore run on the streaming service.
"We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work," Paramount+ said in a statement. "We wish everyone the best going forward."
"We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who propelled the Halo series to be a global success and we remain committed to broadening the Halo universe in different ways in the future," added 343 Industries. "We are grateful to Amblin and Paramount for their partnership in bringing our expansive sci-fi universe to viewers around the world."
In Halo, there is a war for the survival of humanity in the 26th century, with humans warring against an alien threat called the Covenant. Master Chief is mankind's best weapon against the invaders, as he was trained for the single purpose of winning this very war.

Every time someone posts the wrong saying on this site it makes them look lazy. The quote is "get woke OR go broke" Getting a show cancelled means it got on air and you got paid for it. You don't lose that money when the show ends. You don't make money if you got get the show on air.

paralleled woke reality when they parodied taking kids away from their parents for body mods and experimentation. seemed like a parallel to something the left is doing now.

Very little woke in HALO. I cannot think of any glaring examples. I enjoyed this series. I think cost and the writers painting themselves into a corner hurt this show for renewal. I hope Amazon or Netflix picks this show up.

@dengar come on be real we all see it that's why Hollywood as a whole is in trouble they went hard left in 2020 and have suffered for it. Was halo woke? I watched season 1 and thought it was crap so I didn't return return for season 2 .but look at the audience scores for things like star wars marvel and lord of the rings .audiences don't want identity politics in their tv shows .

Please for the love of whatever, stop using WOKE as an example of why a show got canceled. Half the comments reference the word WOKE. I do not think all these shows that are getting cancelled are trying to do anything but entertain. I do not think that politics, religion, or sexual orientation are hidden messages in most of these shows. No one is trying to change your way of thinking thru Halo. It's a tv show. Most people who use the word WOKE probably do not understand it's meaning. WOKE means to be aware of and attentive to social facts and issues. Anyone who uses Woke as a negative does not know it's meaning,

Woke element of this show was to pit the marines against eachother based on deep state manipulations. obvious gross attempt to make trump look bad somehow killed show.
