Hulu announced during this year's San Diego Comic-Con that Solar Opposites has been picked up for Season 6. The early renewal comes two weeks before the animated comedy returns for its fifth season.

The series premiered in 2020 with a two-season order under its belt and a Season 3 renewal that would follow just a month later. It has been going strong since, releasing four seasons and three specials up to this point that have all garnered high praise from both critics and audiences alike. A new Halloween special has also been confirmed for later this year.

Solar Opposites follows a family of aliens from a world better than Earth who are forced to take refuge in middle America. But they disagree on whether this is a good thing or something truly awful.

Season 5 premieres on Monday, August 12 with all 11 episodes. Look for Season 6 in mid to late 2025.
