No Season 2 for the new Star Wars series.

It is being reported by Deadline that The Acolyte has been cancelled by Disney+ after just one season. The news comes a month after the Star Wars series wrapped its 8-episode freshman run.
The move does not come as a complete surprise, as the show's high production costs would need a sizeable audience to justify a renewal. And while its premiere did draw the platform's largest viewership for a new series this year, its early success was short-lived, and the full season numbers were estimated to be low compared to other shows in the Star Wars universe.
The Acolyte is set during the final days of the High Republic era, about 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I. In the show, a former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes. But in a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers, the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

I tried to watch but it was so booring and painful i couldnt get through 2nd episode and after the character i was going to watch show for died in first 30 seconds there was no point anyways.

I guess I could have done without the woke stuff but worse than that was the overall story. I struggled to finish it. I would have actually enjoyed more of a story about the Jedi in that era themselves than Mae.

This show wasn't woke enough. If you want REAL Americans to like you, you gotta be woke. Every freedom lover knows that either be Woke OR be broke. You can't be both. When will tv learn to be more woke like the world wants.

Show was a woke joke that had no respect for Star Wars. Never expected it to make it to season 2. Bad story, bad acting and shoved full of wokeness.
