Hulu has announced that the sixth and final season of The Handmaid's Tale is officially in production for a premiere in spring 2025. The streamer posted a picture on Instagram of star Elisabeth Moss holding the slate for the first scene of Season 6 with a marked date of September 3. It has been two years since the show was renewed for its concluding run.
Based on the classic Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, The Handmaid's Tale takes place in a totalitarian society that was previously part of the United States. Moss plays Offred, one of the few remaining fertile women in the dystopia of Gilead. A handmaid in the commander's household, she is one of the caste of women who are forced into servitude in a desperate attempt to repopulate the world.

I forgot about this show. I hate that shows take so long between seasons. I couldn’t even tell you what happened in the last season at this point.
