Netflix announced today that Dinner Time Live with David Chang has been renewed for a second season. The pickup is for a nine-episode holiday themed season that begins in less than a month on October 8.

The series premiered in January as the only live weekly show on the streaming service. New episodes have been releasing fairly consistently throughout the year, with its 27th episode airing today. With Season 2 just around the corner, there will hardly be any noticeable break between seasons.

In 'Dinner Time Live,' chef David Chang personally cooks for his celebrity friends in his kitchen in downtown Los Angeles. The guests are treated to a VIP experience where the meal, the mishaps, and the conversation all unfold in real time, unfiltered. No food swap-outs, no food stylists, just real how-to culinary secrets and recipes from a world-renowned chef.
