Word is out that the latest spinoff of Pretty Little Liars has been cancelled by Max after two seasons. The news comes three months after the sophomore season, dubbed 'Pretty Little Liars: Summer School,' ended its 8-episode run on the streaming service.
"While Max will not be moving forward with a third season of Pretty Little Liars, we are so grateful to our co-creators, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, as well as the team at Warner Bros. Television, for reintroducing fans to this new iteration of liars who band together to fight the latest creepy villain terrifying Millwood," said Max in a statement. "Their unique and modern creative vision - combined with the immense talent of our cast and crew – gave the series a fun, horror-filled point of view that paid tribute to its original Rosewood roots."
The fourth entry in the franchise, the series is set two decades after a series of tragic events nearly tore the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. A disparate group of teenage girls find themselves tormented by an unknown assailant out to punish them for a secret sin committed by their parents, as well as sins of their own.

Second season altered to many established personalities and characters from season one. Show killed itself.

Decent show but shouldn’t have had the Pretty Little Liars name. If it was its own show, it’d probably get a season 3.
Please stop with the PLL reboots. After 3 failed spinoffs, unless you’re giving people A in a black hoodie, quit trying
