Hulu announced today that Rivals has been picked up for a second season. The news comes less than two months after the British dark comedy released its freshman run to high praise from both critics and viewers.
Adapted from Dame Jilly Cooper's iconic novel, the series is set against the backdrop of the drama, excess, and shocking antics of the power-grabbing social elite of 1980s England, exploring the ruthless world of independent television in 1986. The show airs on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the UK and internationally.
