No Season 2 for the horror thriller.
January 17, 2025
It is being reported that Teacup has been cancelled by Peacock after just one season. Coming less than three months after its freshman finale, the cancellation will surely disappoint fans who were looking forward to finding out more behind the mysteries established in Season 1.
Inspired by the New York Times bestselling novel "Stinger" by Robert McCammon, the horror thriller is set in rural Georgia, where a disparate group of people unite in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. While the show garnered a generally positive reception from critics, it seemed to fly under the radar, never cracking the Nielsen Top 10 streaming charts.

Wow that sucks. They really shouldn't have shows end right in the middle of the story if there's a chance they won't renew it. Bad move, Peacock.
