No Season 5 for the spinoff series.
March 4, 2025
It is being reported that FBI: International has been cancelled by CBS after four seasons. Also getting the ax today was 'FBI: Most Wanted,' leaving the original 'FBI' as the only entry in the franchise left on the air.
The move is somewhat surprising, as the two spinoffs did garner respectable ratings for the network. It was less than a year ago that the network was touting their All-FBI Tuesday programming block as "a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule." There were suspicions raised, however, when neither show was renewed a couple of weeks ago when CBS announced nine renewals for next season.
The second spinoff of the 'FBI' franchise, FBI: International follows cases of Federal Bureau of Investigation that span the globe. A team of elite agents from the FBI's International Division are tasked with keeping Americans safe when they are abroad.

Enjoyed the Tuesday night line-up, sad 2 of the shows have been canceled. But then seems whenever we get into a show and really like it the Network kill it.

Best night of TV all week and cbs just destroyed it. Always knew I’d have one good night to enjoy. Makes no sense, last year it was their pride&joy night? Makes no sense

I think the cast turnover on both the cancelled FBI spinoff happened too fast. Most Wanted has completely changed in the relatively short time it's been on. I think there are only 2 characters left from when the show started. They spent all kind of screen time developing the back-story of Jess Lacroix family, the *poof.* They killed his character, and that was that. And International lost both of the lead members of their team in the last season. And that was a short season, too but, owing to the Hollywood strikes. Heidi Reid left at the start of the season, the Luke Kleintank by the end. And, all though Jesse Lee Sofer is a good actor, after playing Jay Halstead on Chicago P.D. for about ten seasons, to have his character leave on that show, then a year later have him playing a different, but similar, character on International wasn't the best move, in my mind. Too hard to just forget that he was Jay for all those years that quick. Bur, still and all, kinda sorry to see them go. After the huge cast changes in such a short span, I thought that maybe they were both finally just starting to kind of get their feet back under them again.

I never watched International because I thought it was overkill. Most Wanted was ok but my favorite is the original. I will miss MW though as they do some crossover and the characters are likeable enough.

When you have 20 year olds trying to play FBI agents, people stop watching.
The lead cast was horrific.
Playing an FBI agent is a role for a serious actor, not some 22 year old skinny 5'2 girl who was unconvincing

Well after having Danny from Blue Bloods move to Boston for a show that is just an awful idea, and the person that came up with it should lose their job. CBS is just going down hill fast.

Of the three FBI shows this one was my least favorite. When Luke Kleintank left the show it was the nail in the coffin.
