Max announced today that Conan O'Brien Must Go has been renewed for a third season. The pickup is an early one, coming ahead of the unscripted series' Season 2 premiere in May that will see the comedian travel to New Zealand, Austria, and Spain.
"Working with Conan and his team on Conan O'Brien Must Go is the trip of a lifetime," said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials. "They're annoyingly brilliant and no one can make locals feel as deeply uncomfortable in their own country as Conan can... this season in lederhosen!"
In the series, O'Brien travels the globe to visit new friends he made through his podcast "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," engaging in in-depth discussions with viewers from all around the nation and the world. Episodes feature O'Brien surprising some of his most memorable fans while also taking in local culture, cuisine, and sights.
