Max announced today that Conan O'Brien Must Go has been renewed for a second season. The unscripted series premiered last month with a four-episode run that saw O'Brien travel to Norway, Argentina, Thailand, and Ireland.
"Conan's ridiculousness knows no bounds," said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials. "Our audience told us in no uncertain terms that four episodes of Conan O'Brien Must Go is not nearly enough. To which we say, be careful what you wish for."
"This latest travel show has been so fun and rewarding that I suspected it was all a cruel prank," said O'Brien. "My apologies in advance to the next six countries."
In the series, O'Brien travels the globe to visit new friends he made through his podcast "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," engaging in in-depth discussions with viewers from all around the nation and the world. Episodes feature O'Brien surprising some of his most memorable fans while also taking in local culture, cuisine, and sights.
All aboard!
