BET announced today that Tyler Perry's Sistas has been picked up for a ninth season. The news comes ahead of tonight's Season 8 finale, and the wait for the new season won't be long as a premiere date of July 16 has already been set.
The hour-long series has continued to perform well for the cable network, maintaining its rank as the top scripted cable series among Black audiences aged 18-49 in 2024.
Sistas follows four single black women navigating their complicated lives as they socialize, work, and date in Atlanta while dealing with social media and unrealistic relationship goals.
