Prime Video announced that America's Test Kitchen: The Next Generation has been renewed for Season 2. It has been over two years since the cooking competition aired its freshman run on the now-defunct Amazon Freevee.
Hosted by Jeannie Mai, the series features 11 aspiring cooks from across the country partaking in a series of challenges that test their culinary abilities and on-camera personality. Each week the contestants are judged by a panel composed of Dan Souza and a rotating cast of personalities. The last cook standing becomes the newest face of America's Test Kitchen, takes home a $100,000 prize, and gets the opportunity to write their own cookbook.
Mai and Souza will return in Season 2 to mentor and guide 11 new aspiring cooks as they compete for the job of a lifetime. The new season presents an even greater focus on media challenges that will have cooks sweating it out in the spotlight, as well as new skill drills from Souza to help home cooks level up in the kitchen.
The second season of America's Test Kitchen: The Next Generation premieres on April 1.

Good grief, give me a break. I used to be a regular viewer, back when this channel was about Cooking but now I can go months. If I want a recipe, I use their website. One Food Network, mostly chocked full of fluff/reality shows is more than enough.
