It is being reported by Variety that Mr. Throwback has been cancelled after one season. The comedy debuted last summer on the streaming service with a 6-episode run that was well-received by critics and viewers.

The half-hour series follows Danny Grossman, who as a kid was a promising basketball player destined for stardom. But life got in the way and dealt him a bad hand. Now a grown man, Danny is a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who looks for redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Stephen Curry.
