The novel-based drama will return for Season 2.

Netflix announced today that Geek Girl has been renewed for a second season. Coming a full year after the drama's launch, the news comes as a bit of a surprise, as the show had initially been billed as a limited series.
"The amazing audience reaction to Season 1 was truly incredible, and we can't wait to bring this next chapter to life," said Season 2 showrunner Zoë Rocha. "I'm thrilled to be working with Holly [Smale] and Emily [Carey] again, and ... to continue to build and expand the fabulous Geek Girl universe. Let's see what magic Harriet Manners can sprinkle onto the fashion world this time round."
Based on Smale's Geek Girl novel series, the show follows awkward, neurodiverse teen Harriet Manners, whose life is turned upside down when she is scouted to be a model by a top agent. This starts her on a life-affirming journey of self-discovery as she balances high school and high fashion.
Look for Season 2 of Geek Girl in 2026.
