Netflix announced today that Survival of the Thickest has been renewed for a third and final season. The news comes less than two months after the comedy released its sophomore run to continued praise from critics and viewers.

Inspired by co-creator and star Michelle Buteau's collection of comedic essays, the series follows Mavis Beaumont, a proudly thick New Yorker who unexpectedly finds herself single and having to rebuild her life. But with the support of her chosen family, this aspiring stylist is determined to not only survive, but thrive on her own terms.

Look for Season 3 of Survival of the Thickest in 2026.
