No Season 2 for the Kevin Bacon drama.

It is being reported that Prime Video has cancelled The Bondsman after one season. The news comes less than two months after the supernatural drama released its 8-episode freshman run.
The series stars Kevin Bacon as Hub Halloran, a once-murdered bounty hunter who is back from the dead after being resurrected by the Devil to trap and return demons that have escaped from the prison of Hell. By chasing down these demons with the help and hindrance of his estranged family, Hub learns how his own sins got his soul condemned. This pushes him to seek a second chance at life, love, and country music.

Bummer this was a real fun show. It was a fun take on demon hunting. Cast was a lot of fun.

Another show that gambled on a cliff-hangar ending to "encourage" the network not to cancel it - at the expense of the fans. The network doesn't care. Now the producers are left with a show that has ZERO value in syndication.
The show wasn't bad. Bacon was good, supporting cast was good, writing was decent, production value was within parameters. Probably a little too "out there" for the size audience needed to see a renewal.

I pay for PRIME for the shipping saving due to family members living out of state. The PRIME streaming service was a nice addition to the money I pay, but my viewing keeps decreasing as you continue to drop decent shows.
