The crime drama won't return for a fifth season.

It is being reported that Fox has cancelled The Cleaning Lady after four seasons. The news comes three days after the crime drama aired its two-hour season finale, which now serves as its series ender.
The move is not a big surprise, as the show's viewership has dwindled in recent seasons. Its ratings rank it as one of the least watched dramas on the main four broadcast networks.
The series follows Thony De La Rosa, a resourceful Cambodian doctor who comes to the United States in search of medical treatment to save the life of her ailing son. When the system fails and pushes her into hiding, Thony ends up as a cleaner for the mob, where she uses her intelligence and cunning to forge her own path in the criminal underworld.

I liked this at first but lost interest. I know he recently passed but can't help but think at least 4 shows that I know of with Adan Canto as a main cast member were cancelled.

The show had a Latina lead and most Latino shows don't last longer than 4 seasons.

James……Don’t you ever get tired of saying the same things when a show gets cancelled? “It’s gonna be replaced by another reality show. Goodbye FOX.” Quit with the lies. You’ll be watching FOX within 24 hours. Probably sooner….because Fox News is still part of the FOX conglomerate.

I haven't watched Fox much over the years but found myself tuning in more often with Rescue Hi-Surf, Doc and The Cleaning Lady. Now two of those three are gone :(

Not happy with Fox over this. I'm glad it got the 4 seasons it did, but I feel the most recent season was quite strong and it could have built on it with season 5.

This was the best show on fox . Excellent storylines and good characters. I will miss it . Fox will probably replace it with
