Prime Video announced today that Maxton Hall - The World Between Us has been renewed for a third season. The pickup is an early one, coming five months before the German drama returns for its sophomore run.

The series debuted in 2024, giving the streamer its largest-ever global viewership of a non-American title in its launch week. It quickly ranked #1 on the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries and territories.

Based on the Mona Kasten book "Save Me," the series follows Ruby Bell, who becomes an involuntary witness to a shocking secret at Maxton Hall Private College, and the arrogant millionaire heir James Beaufort, who must deal with the scholarship holder and attempt to secure her silence. While the two come from totally different worlds, they find themselves willing to risk everything to be together.

Season 3 will continue the story of Ruby and James, based on "Save Us" - the third book in Kasten's bestselling trilogy. Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten will once again play the leading roles.
