Prime Video has announced that Surf Girls is coming back for Season 2. It has been nearly two years since the docuseries released its freshman run on the streaming service.

While the show debuted as 'Surf Girls Hawaii' and focused on native Hawaiian surfers, the second season will be titled 'Surf Girls: International,' with a focus on surfers from around the world representing their home countries.

"We're excited to be continuing our partnership with Prime Video and TOGETHXR on Surf Girls International. Surf Girls was the beginning of something special - when we launched Season 1, we couldn't have predicted just how much women's sports would explode over the next three years," said Sara Rea, Head of Unscripted for Hello Sunshine. "Now, with Season 2, we're expanding the Surf Girls world: the waves are bigger, the stakes are higher, and the stories continue to inspire. Watching Ewe, the youngest from Season 1, take on the world is a powerful reminder of what's possible. And with the addition of new international surfers, we're thrilled to expand our global footprint and celebrate the next generation of talent on a worldwide stage."

The series follows the next generation of female surfers as they compete at an elite level to earn a coveted spot on the World Tour of professional Surfing. Episodes offer behind-the-scenes access to these exciting young stars as they train, navigate family responsibilities, and compete against the highest-ranking surfers in the world to get to the top of the podium.
