The HBO comedy is coming back after 10 years.

HBO announced today that The Comeback has been picked up for a third and final season. It has been 20 years since the comedy made its debut, and 10 years since Season 2. Production on Season 3 will begin this summer for a premiere in 2026.
"No matter what the industry throws at her, Valerie Cherish is a survivor," said Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President, HBO & Max Comedy Programming. "On the 20th Anniversary of her debut, Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow have brilliantly scripted her return to HBO and we can't wait to see that."
The series stars Kudrow as Valerie, a former "It Girl" of television who, after 10 years out of the spotlight, is looking to jump-start her career. When she receives a call from her former network about doing a reality show, Valerie agrees to take the gig - but her comeback ends up being harder than she originally thought.
